How are you doing ? 好久不見 ~
I can't believe that I have been here for almost a semester.
Funny thing, I end up living in Berkeley instead of in main campus, which is in Moraga (close to Walnut Creek--- it is just a beautiful but country town .. without having a car... you can't do much with it... and most of the time, you are stuck in the school.. ^^)
Thank God for giving me the best arrangement because Berkeley is far more convenient and the tuition is HALF of the original tuition. Can you believe that?
It is only good for the Master of Montessori Early Childhood Education.
Instead of having the classes in the main campus, students are actually taken the classes in the Montessori kindergarten in Berkeley.
St. Mary's Collge is a beautiful and great school with great reputation and friendly environemtn and people around !!!!
If you have students who are interested in taking master in early childhood education, you can highly recommend them to join this master of Montessori program. Again, you get to live in Berkeley far more convenient town and at the same time with only $ 300/ unit great tuition offer.
So, how did I find my apartment? I found it through the craiglist website. It is a website that you can find anything anywhere. How did I get to meet new friends ? I basically join the Taiwanese student union for graduate student in Berkeley so that I get to meet people who live close by me.
Up to now, my grades are good and I am thinking to try to find some opportunities for scholarship starting next term. Do you know any scholarship that I can apply in Tawian that is good for education?
Please kindly let me know.
I might go back to Taiwan during Christmas break. I will for sure drop by and say hi to you & enclosed are some interesting pictures that I took here.
